Number 1 Revisited?

This Sunday could be a historic day in the music charts with reports of the legendary Bob Dylan currently leading the race for number one in the album charts. Dylan’s latest album ‘Together Through Life’ could be his first number one since the 1970’s and his seventh overall.

Dylan is up against indie faves The Enemy whose latest album ‘Music For The People’ is reportedly 5000 sales behind ‘Together Through Life’. The album title alone should be enough to stop The Enemy reaching number one, it’s such a cliché title.

The Enemy’s previous album reached number one in 2007, whereas Dylan’s past two albums reached number three in 2001 and 2006. Hopefully this year will see Bob gain his seventh number one, which is truly deserved.

Do you want to see Bob Dylan reach number one for a seventh time? Have your say!
